During Jamie's career, he has received the Logie award for Most Popular New Male Talent, six consecutive Logie awards for Most Popular Lifestyle Show for Backyard Blitz, 0.and 18 number one national ratings positions. His boundless passion for garden design has truly captured the imagination of viewers, helping to inspire a whole new generation to rediscover their garden.

As much as he loves television, Jamie remains first and foremost a landscape designer, who is lucky enough through the medium of television to be able to inspire and educate people to create their own outdoor rooms and promote wellbeing through a connection to plants and nature. He also relishes the opportunity to give back to his viewers through the well-deserving families receiving gardens on makeover shows such as The Outdoor Room, Backyard Blitz, and makeover segments on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Through out his television career Jamie has also appeared on Renovation Rescue, Better Homes & Gardens, Getaway and Burke’s Backyard. He has hosted Geoff & Jamie’s Sri Lanka, Torvill & Dean’s Dancing On Ice, Skating on Thin Ice and Cirque Du Soleil–Allegria. A keen environmentalist, ambassador and advocate for environmental organisations and charities, Jamie also regularly presents televised awareness campaigns for PLAN International, Planet Ark and Planet Ark’s National Tree Day, and he has produced and presented television specials for Plan International—Jamie's Journey with the Children of India and Jamie’s Journey–Hope for Uganda’s Children.

During 2010, Jamie will appear in various garden, lifestyle and docu-design shows in both Australia and America.
