The story
The Crisp family live in surfside in Sydney and they love the water, but their backyard was another matter – it was burnt to a crisp! They wanted a waterwise, low maintenance garden with plenty of room to entertain.
Jamie immersed himself in the culture of Mexico, bringing home ideas such as colourful walls, traditional rugs, handicrafts and the use of succulents. The Crisp's garden soon changed from barren to bueno!
In the outdoor kitchen, Ed Halmagyi cooked delicious Chicken Quesadillas – a speedy Mexican snack.
