Hi Guys!
June is jam-packed! This month seems to be full of milestones for me.
Back home in Sydney we had our media launch for the 2010 PATIO BY JAMIE DURIE range of products, which will be our fourth season at Big W. I can’t wait for August/September when most of the products hit the Big W shelves because I know you will love what we have in store for you. Our range evolves step-by-step each year while still working back with everything in last years range. As time goes by you can add more comfort to your Outdoor Room without feeling like you have to throw everything out and begin again.
I’ve also realised a long term dream of mine this month. My team and our friends at Home Beautiful magazine announced to the media our joint intention of launching a new outdoor entertaining and lifestyle magazine, The Outdoor Room in September 2010. I won’t give too much away now, because I want you to feel like you are opening a gift from us as you flick through the pages of our first issue, BUT, I will tell you that it will be full of inspiring ideas, beautiful images and practical info for all aspects of outdoor living and lifestyle—from furnishings, renovations and decorations, budget makeovers, garden projects, to pets and wildlife, travel, food and entertaining. I’ll keep you posted on how we’re travelling with putting our launch issue together over the next few months.
This month I also begin filming our third series of The Outdoor Room TV show for HGTV. I’m really excited to begin as our team is well and truly in the swing now with two series already under our belt. Everywhere I go in the USA I meet people who are enjoying watching the show and I’ve been getting some wonderful feedback. Thanks to all of you for watching and receiving the show so well and thanks for all your support!
